Cale Allen led the way at the sixth Hey Hey 5k run at Door County Brewing Co. on Saturday, Sept. 24. Allen, of Lakewood, Colorado, topped 241 runners on the course through Baileys Harbor’s back roads. Chris Schmitz of De Pere finished second, more than a minute behind him. Dan Crooker of Baileys Harbor finished third.
Rebecca Gosselin of Wauwatosa edged out Raissa Ashman of Seymour for first place on the women’s side. Blair Allen of Lakewood, Colorado came in third. All runners received a race shirt, free race glass, and beer or root beer at the finish.
